Job description
- You are a specialist in eDrive (motor & inverter integration) design
- Within a multidisciplinary team you will work to specify, develop, test and integrate eDrive elements into dual clutch transmissions (DCT) or electric drive units (EDU)
- You ensure compliance to functional, performance, safety, legal,… requirements provided to you by the powertrain team
- You will work closely together with motor and inverter specialists, in- or externally, trading off different concepts to realize an optimum solution
- You keep an open mind, enabling the team to develop innovative concepts with unique properties
- You build up a good professional relation, with internal and external actors
- You will be part of the ‘eDrive functional cluster’, based in Sint-Truiden
- You will work with Punch and automotive quality process standards
Profile
- Master or PhD in Electr-Mechanical Engineering
- + 5 years experience in eDrive system design
- Well-established experience in automotive is mandatory
- You have the ability and drive to develop new cutting edge solutions and ‘out of the box’ thinking
- Knowledge on electric safety and EMC is a plus
- Experience with requirements management tools (Polarion) is a plus
- You are a driven and enthusiastic team player
- You have an extensive network and state-of-the-art knowledge
- Some travel (<20%) – mainly in Europe – is expected
- You can work on-site in Sint-Truiden
