Electric Vehicle Controls Engineer

• Design of the control strategies for Components of an Electrical Inverter.
• Develop and validate the control strategies for these components, including the physical modeling of the plant (powertrain + vehicle model).
• You play a major role in Model Based Design processes (modeling, validation, prototyping, calibration & testing).
• Close contact with the customer, due to co-design of the powertrain control strategies.
• Plan and execute the work related to the software module according to the project milestones.
• Report issues in your modules and contribute to resolving them.
• Plan, support and execute the calibration & test-bench/vehicle testing activities.
• Support current and future application projects.

Profile:

• Master in the field of Automotive, Mechatronics, Systems, Controls or Electrical Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience as automotive/powertrain controls engineer or similar control strategies
• Good knowledge about Powertrains in general.
• Good understanding about system/powertrain dynamics.
• Excellent knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, particularly State flow
• You must have relevant experience with test bench setups and vehicle level testing
• You must have basic knowledge of an embedded system environment
• You should proceed according to a good methodology in development and problem solving
• You should be well organized, you should have strong analytical and communication skills
• You should be an excellent team player
