Purchasing Controller

Purchasing Controller

As Purchase Controller you will oversees global financial procurement activities and collaborates closely with the Chief Procurement Officer, providing financial insights and monitoring price variances. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, proficiency in IFRS, advanced IT skills, and a proactive, analytical mindset paired with strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial procurement activities of Punch Powertrain PSA e transmissions nv (PPET) globally 
  • You are the financial business partner of the PPET Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and report to the PPET CFO
  • You setup and perform material Bill of Material (BOM) price variance analysis and monitor price changes 
  • You monitor Vendor tooling and other contractual clauses from a profitability, cash and accounting standpoint
  • You coordinate forecasting and budgeting process and perform financial analysis for purchasing expenses, FTE (full-time equivalent), and BOM cost
  • You monitor financial KPIs for purchasing and supply chain management including landed BOM cost
  • You evaluate financial health of suppliers (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cashflow Analysis), when requested


Profile:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role and or environment
  • Professional Bachelor / Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering
  • Good knowledge of IFRS
  • Excellent language skills in English, both verbal and written. Dutch, French, German or Mandarin are a plus
  • IT related skills (Advanced Excel, SAP (purchasing and BOM), SAP BPC)
  • You are a team member, achieving results through self and others
  • You work accurate and organized
  • You are analytical, resourceful & possesses good problem-solving capability
  • You have the ability to challenge different stakeholders 
  • You have an accurate and result driven personality with an out-of-the-box mentality
  • You have well developed communication skills, and you are customer focused
